i'm acidic.

Great. I didn't know that persistent gastric pain can eventually lead to PUKING.

And i did that RIGHT in front of my boss while we were supposingly having our coffee break in this dessert shop. My outlet for my little pool of semi digested 'wanton mee cum ice-chocolate' was... a little dessert bowl. haha. yuck.

Thanks to me, we're granted early release with claimable cabfare as well
Before you think my churning stomach begets a blessing in disguise, no it isn't.
I have to reluctantly forgo my planned gaigai! cuz i'm simply too nuaaa to be out :(

Chink fortune-telling.

According to fortune teller, Mr ChinaMan (bogus or genuine i'm not sure) says...

in time to come, my prospective husband will be standing at height of 1.73cm and that i'll be a 'gui fu' (wealthy woman) clad in Gucci, LV, Dior and whatever spanking luxurious items, announcing my arrival in my classic business suit and stilettos that goes 'ticker-tock-ticker'
oh man, doesnt it mean edison chen doesnt stand any chance now? ;(

My chinese name characters amazingly painted with just 6 colours by him.

My 'yan' has several birds or flight creatures if you've noticed. So i'll flyyyyy~

Fly me to Venice pleasee.

'Poo-den-sia'

Under the tender loving care of the Prudential boss, staff and partners for attachment, i guess i'll be putting on the extra kilos by the end of 7 weeks. We are soOo well-fed over there alright.

I'm real glad or rather lucky to be attached over there with easy-going people and all.

Funny thing is, i can actually get a lil emo. during one of those oh-so-boring lectures cuz they DO convey some motivating message across, be it for the career or personal life aspect. Serving as some reminder to forget certain things and focus on what's essential.
And i have to say, i'm sure this experience will be a true eye-opener though the chores are getting tougher!

Anyway... after the roadshow tmr will be dinner over at Mr Edward Lee Shuang xi's place whose my boss (what an auspicious yet cliche name- cute ) haha. I'm looking forward to that ;)

The 3 outta 4 girls. The other went off blissfully to meet up with her bf for lunch.

In case you wonder, this is NOT our office. It's a rest area at a new shopping area opposite bugis junction.

Major camwhoring since majority of the shops are NOT open yet during lunch time

'Ceiling' girl and i exchanging 'electrifying' glances under bright lights ;)

Introducing your prudential interns: Faith, Leng, Yanz missing out on Sharon.

Any takers?

spread your warmth to HER

i miss living the domestic lifestyle.
The ever so warm homely feeling, triggered by ready served food and occasion naps in between here and there.
It's getting a lil cold in 'ere.

Day 1 of a budgeted labour

ARGH. Bloody blogger's having problem and this is the 3rd time i've been typing this entry since 6474849495405050505 seconds ago -_-

I feel the fatigue kicking in.

All the digits and figures are making me all dizzy. For they're my soon-to-be 'best friend' for the next few weeks. Aint exactly excited for work at all. When all the blue slip posted by NP listed was, 'xxxxxx organisation'. I see myself constraint 9hrs in a container with limited walking space doing routine chores like filing tons of pile up documents, pouring coffee and typing away til my eyesight deterioates. Tell me how challenging can it sound?

But fortunately, underlying that ali-kookoo company name is actually 'Prudential'. A glimpse of light at least.
The day was sheer slacking and boredom and i had to try very hard to keep my eyes WIDE open and yawn with my mouth close to give that 'i-am-very-attentive' look. Just 2 hrs of lecture in school, i had enough of that already. So imagine when i had to endure 9hrs of multiple 'power phrases' lectures cum a wee-bit of telemarketing role-play. But i must say the break duration was absolute generousity. 2hr45min with complementary lunch and drinks.

And now, my fingers further add importance and value to my personal assets. They're like my personal 'identification keys' to open the door to the office every now and then. How cool~ Okayyy, maybe i'm getting a little overwhelmed by the novelty.

Before i forget, i have to announce 'The long disappearance of MacDonald's all-time favourite MILKSHAKE has resurfaced!' and i got a chocolate one immediately ;)

Chocolate-rush

I officially declare the end of misery period-EXAMS FREE!
To reward yourself after all the countless strenous nights spent on exams,
i suggest a chocolates-fested weekend or holiday to begin with since it's been proven, consuming chocolates DO make you happy afterall.

Knock yourself out with these sinful trillion-calories indulgences!

1) Chocolate filled churros coated with cinnamon sugar. Located at far east, near old chang kee.

2) FRIED MARS BAR at Chippys, far east level one. It is a ...total addiction! I strongly urge you you try this.

3) Chocolate chip ice-cream from Andersen Denmark's. My all-time favourite .

Chill out at 'Loof', this relatively new rooftop pub was great, partially because of the company.
I'm lovinggg every single bit of my weekends. ;)
